Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to anticipate maintenance issues and support the Distribution Center’s equipment and facilities. You will perform corrective actions to minimize downtime, inspect and repair conveyor systems, machinery, and building functions, and assist other maintenance partners as needed.

You will dismantle devices with hand and power tools, read maintenance literature in English, perform preventative maintenance, order parts, and participate in daily

Qualifications

• 2+ years' work experience repairing distribution center/industrial equipment in an industrial environment or the military.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach when support is needed.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Basic skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Take corrective action to reduce or eliminate downtime in the distribution center.
• Provide support to other maintenance partners and respond to problems in conveyor systems, machinery, and building functions.
• Inspect parts and remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, hoists and cranes while observing safe operation of systems.
• Order parts, perform daily and weekly safety checks, and provide technical guidance on policies and procedures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
