Job summary

Goldmark Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 at Prairiewood Meadows in Fargo, ND. You will handle repairs across heating, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades to keep resident homes safe and well-maintained.

You will prepare apartments for occupancy within 24–72 hours, coordinate with team members, and participate in ongoing training to grow your maintenance skills. We offer benefits, PTO, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• One to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, vehicle insurance and clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency and quality of advanced maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned Service Requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties. This includes areas of heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC, and other general repairs. Recommending replacement or repair, as necessary. Ensure that all work completed is professional and clean after leaving our residents homes.
• Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours. This may include coordinating the work of other staff or vendors.
• Participate in ongoing training to build and maintain knowledge and skills to excel in their role as a Maintenance Technician.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.
• Complete and document daily building inspections with the focus on proactive maintenance.
• Ensure the attractive internal and external appearance of all buildings and grounds, which may include removing debris and weeds, and reporting maintenance needs.
• Participate in ongoing training to build and maintain knowledge and skills to excel in their role as a Maintenance Technician.
