A leading company in food processing is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for their Plymouth, WI facility. This full-time position requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting various plant machinery. Successful candidates will have a Journeyman Electrician or Millwright license, with a strong foundation in electrical systems and mechanical repairs. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance in our plant operations.

SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician II maintains plant equipment through work orders and preventative maintenance procedures. Successful performance includes proper care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment to reduce downtime and improve performance. Tech II’s provide close coordination of work with plant personnel, vendors, and contractors while also providing assistance to Tech III’s and working directly with Tech I positions. This position works 6pm-6am on a 2/2/3 rotation.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; working in coolers at temperatures of 40-45 degrees; extreme heat in areas such as the boiler room; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
TOOL & EQUIPMENT USED
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member may be required to work with hand power tools, welders, cutting torches, presses, lathes, milling machines, grinders, calculator, measuring and calibrating tools, electrical test instruments, mechanical test instruments, motorized pallet trucks, and assorted hand tools.
PPE’s REQUIRED
Personal protective equipment that is required when working with hazardous materials or loud equipment includes: safety goggles, rubber or latex gloves, lab coat and hearing protection.
