Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Hodges, SC facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a heavy industrial setting.

The role requires experience in maintenance, mechanical or electrical work, and knowledge of safety regulations. On-site, third shift with night premium; ability to work with external vendors and use CMMS for documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical position in heavy industrial environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Analyze malfunctions and implement best repair solutions; notify supervisor of equipment availability after repairs.
• Record incidents in CMMS and assist maintenance agents and external companies on-site when needed.
• Access technical information and contact external suppliers as required.
• Support spare parts storeroom operations to ensure parts availability.
