Our manufacturing facility and laboratory are located in Grove City, OH, managing the entire product lifecycle including supply chain, R&D, manufacturing, testing, and distribution.

This is a 3rd shift position, working Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Maintenance Technicians perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems, aiming to maximize uptime and efficiency. Equipment includes Hydraulic Presses, CNC machines, Rolling Mills, Coordinate-Measuring Machines, Electron Beam Welders, Metal Casters, and Automation Systems. Technicians utilize their knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, robotic, and programmable ladder logic. They create, update, and maintain preventive maintenance procedures to support a move toward predictive maintenance.

The Technician II supports preventive maintenance, training, and troubleshooting/repairs under supervision if needed. They participate in projects and team activities, providing feedback to improve maintenance procedures. The Technician II reports to the Area Department Supervisor or Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding new Technicians.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Handle assigned equipment and maintenance work orders.
  • Contribute to updating preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Be flexible with schedule for training and development.
  • Follow safety requirements, communicate risks, and assist in resolution.
  • Maintain 5S standards for a safe and organized environment.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.
  • Align with company values, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate professionally.
  • Perform other related duties.
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Effective teamwork and communication.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to document work clearly.
  • Basic understanding of tools and test equipment.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Work at heights using ladders or lifts.
  • Frequent bending and twisting.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Wear PPE as required.
