The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for ensuring all plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently. This includes maintaining and repairing building and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and stopping production when necessary to address problems quickly, all in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: At least 1 year of related experience or training, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/mechanical systems, safety practices, food processing equipment, electrical troubleshooting, welding, etc.
Regularly stand, walk, bend, squat, reach; lift up to 50 pounds; work in a plant environment with varying temperatures, noise, and wet/slippery floors. Some outdoor work and travel may be required.
