Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Second Shift (3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.) in Lincoln, NE. The role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and facilities to ensure reliable operations.

You will work with welding equipment, CNC drills, press brake, and other tooling, and you will manage spare parts inventory and safety procedures. Experience in industrial electronics and electricity preferred; proper PPE and heights work; strong

Qualifications

  • High school education or GED preferred; associate degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial electronics or maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic electricity; ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace plant lighting and equipment; perform advanced maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems; diagnose issues and implement fixes.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and purchase requisitions; ensure safety compliance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on welding equipment and CNC machinery; work at heights.

The Maintenance Technician performsall plant maintenance functionsincluding:troubleshootingequipment, preventive maintenance, repairof plant equipment, replacement and installation of electricalandmechanical systems,andequipment and fixtures.
