Responsibilities
- Responsible for all plant equipment preventative maintenance.
- Manage spare parts for all machines.
- Responds as needed to waste treatment equipment calls.
- Responds as needed to equipment breakdown and repair calls.
- Assist with improvement projects as directed by Plant Engineer.
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop.
- Serves as a 24-hour first responder for after-hour breakdowns (via cell phone).
Other
- Understand how to open and close plant.
- Assist in housekeeping/5S activities plant-wide as needed.
- Understand maintenance\'s importance in supporting WT and production activities.
- Understand RMF lock-out/tag-out system, confined space entry system, and other safety-related policies.
- Understand RMF Maintenance Escalation Plan.
- Maintain repair and replacement inventory list.
- Inform Maintenance Team Leader on repair and replacement inventory needs.
Quality and Environmental System Responsibilities
- Awareness of the Management System Policy - Posted at the production office.
- Awareness of company Quality and Environmental Objectives - Posted at each plating line.
- Awareness of the Significant Environmental Aspects related to your work area and activities.
Duties Not to be Carried Out
- Changing chemistry set points and/or chemistry type.
- Adding new personnel or changing work schedule.

Requirements/Skills
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 4 years experience or 2 years plus Mechatronics Certification
Knowledge and Skills
- Computer skills, conversion from US to metric
- Multiple skill sets, including mechanical, electrical, welding, general plant maintenance, and inventory control.
