Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift. The hours for this role are 7am-3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $33.00 per hour. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and market considerations.

What You’ll Do

Eaton Aerospace’s FED Division is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at our Beltsville, MD location. Our facility supports military and commercial aircraft with a focus on reliability, weight reduction, and fuel efficiency. Join us to contribute to innovative aerospace solutions.

Position Summary

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.

Essential Functions
  • Perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment, dismantle, repair, and test equipment.
  • Construct and modify physical facilities for improvements.
  • Perform routine industrial and facilities maintenance.
  • Assist other technicians and support team members.
  • Support electrical work under supervision, including wiring, installing fixtures, and diagnostics.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Two years of industrial maintenance experience or an associate degree with one year of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must be a U.S. person per ITAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Two years in CNC machining maintenance.
Skills
  • Adhere to safety and environmental standards.
  • Use precision gauging instruments.
  • Work proactively with team members.
  • Stand and walk for long hours.
  • Follow technical standards and procedures.
  • Work with lubricants and solvents daily.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
