Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform EMERGENCY, ROUTINE and preventive maintenance on production and building equipment in our Beaver Dam facility. The role includes mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting, plus 5S compliance and vendor coordination.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, OSHA/Arc Flash/LOTO knowledge, and PLC skills. Training in aerial lifts and strong problem‑solving abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.
  • 7–10 years of experience with equipment and automation in automation, robotics, metal fabrication, paint or assembly operations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC is required.
  • PIV training and certification.
  • Airial lift training and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform emergency, routine and preventive maintenance on production and building equipment.
  • Maintain and service production lines and facilities.
  • Read blueprints, drawings and schematics for electrical and mechanical work.
  • Repair mechanical, electrical and PLC equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts and services as needed.
  • Maintain 5S program and safety training compliance.
