Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred.
  • Valid Kansas driver’s license required.

A Day in the Life:

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and departments
  • Perform skilled repair work in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
  • Assist with small renovation projects and basic construction tasks
  • Complete preventative maintenance checks and document findings
  • Help set up or move furniture and equipment for events or office changes
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean, safe condition
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed
  • Support compliance with building codes, safety standards, and internal policies
  • Participate in seasonal duties as assigned (e.g., grounds support, weather prep)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred
  • HVAC or electrical certifications a plus
  • Valid Kansas driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in both indoor and outdoor settings
  • Dependable, respectful, and team-oriented
