OPPORTUNITY: Maintenance Technician II - San Diego, CA

Schedule: Thursday - Monday, 8AM - 5PM

Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for our 970-unit community, Promenade at Rio Vista. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth in property management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working in turnover and renovation units, responding to maintenance service requests.
• Performing external and internal repairs such as drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing, appliance repairs, boilers, HVAC systems, and common area upkeep.
• Participating in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled or required.
• Setting up and operating machine tools like lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine for repairs and fabrication.
• Fabricating and repairing wooden structures like cabinets, counters, benches, and partitions.
• Maintaining inventory and related paperwork.
• Keeping storage and equipment in good order.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience across trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.).
• Proven ability to perform quality work with required tools and machinery, professional interaction, knowledge of OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules, manuals, and respond effectively to questions.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training or 3-6 months related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Weekend work availability.

Salary range: $24.00-$27.50/hour. Benefits include 401(k) match, rental incentives, bonuses, discounts, medical, dental, vision, and vacation accrual. Sick time is provided per law.

This bonus is paid in two lump sums: 50% on the 45th day and 50% on the 90th day of employment, contingent on remaining employed for 12 months.
