Job summary

First Community Bank is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support our multi-location facilities. The role involves hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and a commitment to safe, reliable operations across banks and properties.

You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, coordinate with vendors, and uphold the bank’s safety standards while adapting to a fast-paced environment that serves our communities.

Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience with general maintenance.
  • Strong aptitude and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and security systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of safety techniques related to working with hand tools, operating equipment, and exposure to chemicals.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment associated with the skills listed above.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs for facilities.
  • Provide preventative maintenance to equipment, buildings, and grounds.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment, buildings, and grounds while managing other tasks on the schedule.
  • Work with outside vendors and contractors to complete repairs or maintenance of specialized equipment.
  • Coordinate with Vendor Management for updating vendor information.
  • Complete training, as assigned, within the expected timeframes.

The Maintenance Technician II performs highly diversified duties related to the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, equipment, and other facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Perform, but not limited to, the following skills: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC for the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, equipment, and other facilities.

  3. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment, buildings, and grounds while managing other tasks on the schedule.
  4. Work with outside vendors and contractors to complete repairs or maintenance of specialized equipment.

  6. Complete training, as assigned, within the expected timeframes.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ten years of experience with general maintenance

  • Ability to use tools and equipment associated with the skills listed above
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, or crawl into awkward spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • CDL is preferred or be willing to receive one
