Essential Job Functions
  • Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
  • Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
  • Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
  • Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
  • Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
  • Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on‑call for emergency maintenance.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Compensation

$25-$26.00 per hour. This range is a general guideline and may vary based on qualifications, location, and responsibilities. In addition to salary, the position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
  • Affordable housing experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to participate in the emergency on‑call rotation as needed.
