Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a experienced Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The role includes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and documenting maintenance activities.

In‑plant position requires strong technical knowledge and leadership with potential training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance engineering experience with machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
  • Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.
  • Company offers additional training in Steam Boiler, Electrical, Pneumatic, Schematics, Maintenance, Welding, and Plumbing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep plant machines running smoothly.
  • Manage morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment including boiler, compressor, pumps, and valves.
  • Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
  • Complete general and basic repairs on machinery and document maintenance per schedule.
  • Identify and report major repairs and follow manufacturer maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.

This position performs preventive maintenance that includes welding, boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records. This in-plant position requires strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, the ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems, and strong leadership skills. We're looking for knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, steam boiler, electrical, pneumatic, schematics, maintenance, welding, and plumbing work.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for routine preventive maintenance on the property to ensure plant machines continue to run smoothly
  • Responsible for morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment, including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves
  • Handles regular maintenance of lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels
  • Responsible for completing all general and basic repairs on the machinery
  • Follows the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and documents the process
  • Identifies and reports all other major repairs that need to be completed on the machinery

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $XX-XX /hour, based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

This role requires standing or moving through the plant during the workday. Maintenance tasks will require some stooping, pulling, pushing, and working in cramped areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
