Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems, such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers.

Additional duties include performing preventive and predictive maintenance, welding activities, boiler chemical testing and adjustment, resolving safety concerns, housekeeping, inventory management, preparation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience reading a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8‑hour shift.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and evaluations of equipment.
• Conduct welding activities and boiler chemical testing/adjustments.
• Address safety concerns and assist with housekeeping and inventory management.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I partners and assist with outside service companies.

Additional duties include performing preventive and predictive maintenance, welding activities, boiler chemical testing and adjustment, resolving safety concerns, indoor and outdoor housekeeping, inventory management, preparation of maintenance records, evaluation of work performed by outside service companies, response to emergency alarms, and mentoring Maintenance Technician I partners.

Skills / Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military setting
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience reading a blueprint
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8‑hour shift
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Compensation

Base salary ranges from $29.33 to $37.50 per hour. The range reflects factors such as skill set, experience, training and other business considerations.
