Job summary

Willow Ridge in Charlotte, NC is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to support repairs, unit turns, and daily upkeep to keep our apartment community clean, safe, and move-in ready.

You will assist with repairs, painting, plumbing, and grounds, learn HVAC/CPO certifications, and grow with a team that rewards reliability with on-call stipends, bonuses, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least one year of general maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of tools, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Willingness to learn and obtain certifications (CPO/HVAC).
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and work flexible hours.
• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Support unit make-readies, painting, light plumbing, and cleaning.
• Help maintain tools, carts, and grounds.
• Change locks, filters, and light fixtures as needed.
• Respond to service requests and help with on-call emergencies.
