Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC to keep facilities safe and guest-ready.

You will do light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair, train team members, and collaborate with management to recruit for department needs, while delivering courteous guest service and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of maintenance with ability to handle hotel systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and preventive measures.
• Ability to speak, write and receive direction in English.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor programs to ensure a safe facility and work environment per regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience with courteous service.

What you will do:

• Complete repairsand preventative maintenanceon a variety of systems such as plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipmentand HVAC

• We seek self-motivated, organized team members with the ability to demonstrate or be trained to be able to perform the following:

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance

• Ability to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components and restore functionality

• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operationsfor pool maintenance

• Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs to ensure a safe and well-maintained hotel

• Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing

• Ability to speak, write and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English

• Ability to troubleshoot andrepair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods

• Flexibility to be available for emergency repair
