Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across hospital facilities. Under supervision, you will handle electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, plus general repairs.

You will take part in construction/renovation projects, inspect surfaces, ensure security, and support a high reliability culture. A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of relevant experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance rounds, PM tasks, repairs across hospital facilities.
• Executes electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plumbing and HVAC related tasks.
• Works on construction/renovation projects with skilled trades.
• Maintains walls, finishes, doors, casework, ceilings; prepares surfaces for finishes.
• Conducts regular rounds and security-related checks; escorts when needed.
• Collaborates as part of in-house construction crew for multiple projects at various sites.
