Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Landisville, PA to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on production and facilities equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair failures, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and safety.

The role requires 4 years of manufacturing/maintenance experience, with HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical repair. A valid forklift license and strong teamwork are expected for success.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • 4 years of experience in manufacturing and facilities maintenance.
  • 1 year of experience with HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair (120V & 480V).
  • Excellent attendance and safety oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment including welders, pneumatic tools, and pumps.
  • Repair or replace control devices such as switches, sensors, valves, and motor starters.
  • Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments.
  • Document repair reports and maintain logs.
  • Fabricate and modify equipment as needed.
  • Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
  • Read and follow detailed drawings, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and initiate process improvements.
  • Support 5S in the work area.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Hold a valid fork truck/stand up license and perform daily maintenance logs.

Maintenance Technician II | Landisville, PA

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $25.00 - 25.00

What you’ll do:
SUMMARY:

The MaintenanceTechnician position is responsible for performing preventative, predictive androutine maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, repairing failuresof production and facilities equipment, and ensuring maximum equipmentefficiency and effectiveness.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as welders, pneumatichand tools, electric hand tools, pumps, motors, compressors, etcetera
  • Repair or replace control devices such as switches, sensors, buttoncontrollers, valves, motor starters, etcetera
  • Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments
  • Document repair reports
  • Fabricate and modify new and existing equipment
  • Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programming
  • Learn and retain skills and practices needed to complete duties in assignedarea
  • Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings,blueprints, etcetera, as required
  • Self-check work and inspect prior processes
  • Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Initiate process improvements
  • Support 5S in work area
  • Communicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams (engineering,materials, purchasing, sales, etcetera) to resolve issues
  • Obtain and maintain a valid fork truck/stand up license - including completionof daily maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment
  • Other tasks as assigned
What you need to be successful:
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 4 years of experience in manufacturing and facilitiesmaintenance
  • 1 year of experience with HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics,mechanics, and basic electrical repair-120v & 480v (consideration will begiven to equivalent combinations of education and experience)

  • Basic computerskills are required
  • Strongcommunication skills, verbal and written
  • Maintain a validdriver’s license

  • Strong mechanicalaptitude a must
  • Knowledge ofbasic assembly processes preferred
  • Able to:
    1. Accumulate tools and equipment required to perform assigned tasks
    2. Lift 50 pounds waist high
    3. Embrace change
    4. Read andcomprehend documents and prints at a high level
    5. Work overtime onshort notice
  • Willing to:
    1. Improve self /area / company (including pursuing additional training, if needed)
    2. Develop a workingknowledge of company’s systems (example: AS/400, maintenance software)
