Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Community Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair property assets on-site in Katy, TX. You will respond to maintenance reports, perform various trades, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic knowledge of tools and water/wastewater operations. Availability for weekends and on-call is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance reports and complete tasks within defined timing and quality requirements.
• Maintain and replace doggie stations, liners and related supplies.
• Pressure wash sidewalks, pool decks, signs, rails, light poles, benches, trash cans.
• Install and repair signs; paint signs and curbs.
• Maintain files and records of work orders using an iPad.
• Service and maintain tools and equipment; perform routine equipment tests.
• Work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings and on-call as required.
• Ensure operations comply with policies and maintain a safe, clean workplace.
• Assist with maintenance operations to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in meetings and groups to coordinate activities and share knowledge.

Position Summary:

The Community Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing property assets.

Essential Functions:

• Responds to reports of maintenance problems and completes tasks within defined timing and quality requirements. Assigned task may include completing work in the following disciplines: mechanical, carpentry, painting, masonry, and other general maintenance activities.
• Orders and replaces doggie stations, liners and supplies related to each project.
• Responsible for pressure washing sidewalks, pool decks, signs, rails, light poles, benches, trash cans.
• Installs and repairs signs. Paints signs and curbs.
• Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion using iPad.
• Cleans and maintains company owned tools and equipment. Conducts routine equipment maintenance tests.
• Other duties as assigned. Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
• Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and the workplace is a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with any maintenance operation, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments.

Education, Experience and Skills

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments.
• Technical: Demonstrate working knowledge of hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Technical: Ability to follow the manual & operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations.

Physical Demands
