Job summary

HelloFresh in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join the maintenance team and safeguard uptime by maintaining and repairing conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, document in CMMS, and mentor others to build strong skill sets.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong diagnostic ability, basic IT skills, and PLC knowledge; travel up to 5% and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience with conveyors, automation, robotics, and/or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% for business needs.
• Mechatronics associate or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with inputs/outputs and PLC logic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, food safety, and security standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues; document in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Mentor maintenance personnel and share knowledge.

Job description

Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician II, you will work with the maintenance team to maintain and repair conveyance, automation and facilities equipment to support operations uptime and improve reliability of our systems.

Shift:

Sunday to Wednesday - 7:00am to 5:30pm

You will:

• Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, and security standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment as needed.
• Perform routine troubleshooting of assigned out of service equipment and correct issues, act as an escalation point for lower level technicians, and escalation to leadership and/or more senior technicians as needed for additional troubleshooting.
• Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems as appropriate.
• Mentor all maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skill sets and knowledge of equipment.
• Assist and/or perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Perform building project work as assigned.

You have:

• 2-4 years of experience with conveyor, automation, robotics, and/or refrigeration repair and maintenance including mechanical and electrical operations.
• Intermediate understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand basic schematics.
• Ability to travel as necessary (up to 5%) for business purposes.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent follow through, judgment, and common sense. "Make it happen" attitude.
• Mechatronics associates or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems preferred.
