Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests promptly and interact with residents to meet needs.
  • Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within set timeframes.
  • Inspect mechanical systems and grounds and address safety issues with management.
  • Perform advanced routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
  • Proactively address maintenance concerns and coordinate with supervisors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
  • Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
  • Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
  • Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
  • Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
  • Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:
  • $23.00-$25.00 per hr.
  • Annual Performance Bonus
  • This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay.

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
  • Affordable housing experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.
  • Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Personal standards of appearance and dress compatible with the Company's standards.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
