QVC, Inc. in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the Bethlehem fulfillment center. You will perform general facility repairs, equipment maintenance, and repairs on conveyors, PIT equipment, and dock systems, working with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety tasks.

Two shifts are available: nights Sunday-Wednesday 6pm–4:30am and days Wednesday-Saturday 8am–5:30pm. This is an onsite role with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience with mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
• Familiarity with blueprints and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Building Maintenance – perform general facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, painting, wall repair).
• Repair dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates; assist outside vendors.
• Equipment Maintenance – perform planned and unplanned repairs; preventive maintenance on production equipment and PITs.
• Conveyor, Automation and Sorter Systems – repair and maintain conveyors and sortation systems.
• Electrical – basic AC/DC understanding and use of a voltage meter; follow lock out/tag out policy.
• Safety / Facility Cleanliness – maintain 5S and safety, keep area safe and clean.

This requires a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. You will assist all other Maintenance Technicians with more complex maintenance responsibilities. You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager.* **We have two positions available. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. **What You'll Do*** Building Maintenance – Perform and/or facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair. Perform repairs on dock doors, dock locks, and dock plates to resolve problems and ensure successful operation. Escort and assist outside vendors.* Equipment Maintenance – Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical. Help with repairs when unscheduled breakdowns occur.* Conveyor, Automation and Sorter Systems – Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.* Electrical – Have a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter. Will follow lock out/tag out policy.* Safety / Facility Cleanliness –Practice and be a leader in 5S and safety procedures to ensure that the area is safe, organized, and clean. Maintain complete inventory and cleaning of all equipment and work areas daily. Identify and act immediately to correct any safety hazards, spills., to avoid the risk of accident, and escalate issues.* Other responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
