Catholic Housing Services in Western Washington seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform routine building maintenance, groundskeeping and janitorial duties across multiple properties serving low-income tenants.
The position offers an hourly wage of $25.46–$27.50 (DOE) and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, HSA/FSA, paid time off, a 403(b) plan and EAP. One year of maintenance experience and basic plumbing/electrical knowledge are preferred.

This is a full-time position (40) forty hours a week.Perform a variety of routine general building maintenance tasks, limitedgroundsmaintenance and janitorial duties.Occasionally,assistwith non-routine preparations on units for new tenants.Assistwithmaintainingbuilding security systems,immediatelyreporting problems to the Property Manager and/or the LeadMaintenanceand entering units only as directed by the manager within CHS guidelines.Seekto provide tenants with a safe,positiveand sanitary living environment. Perform these tasks with minimum supervision, applying solid work experience in this area.
This position offers a compensation range of $25.46 – $27.50 per hour (DOE)

Job Conditions
This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectiousmaterial. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, bedbugs, chemicals involved in pest control,paintand other materials used in building maintenance, building temperature fluctuations, dust, noise, and odors. Working conditions include interruptions, crisis response, and regular interactions with individuals who are dealing with issues of chemical dependency and/or mentalillness, orare experiencing anger or frustration.
