Drury Inn & Suites - Arnold, MO is hiring a Maintenance Tech I to keep the hotel running smoothly and safely. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and more while maintaining guest-ready areas.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, clear records, training teammates, and collaborating with management to meet staffing needs, with opportunities for growth and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across hotel systems and equipment.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair or replace components and restore function.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance including water chemistry, filtration, and operation.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety programs to ensure a safe facility and environment.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience by providing courteous and friendly service.

What you will do:

Maintain safe and smooth-running physical hotel property and grounds.

• Complete repairsand preventative maintenanceon a variety of systems such as plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipmentand HVAC

• We seek self-motivated, organized team members with the ability to demonstrate or be trained to be able to perform the following:
• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills, with ability to handle all aspects of hotel maintenance
• Ability to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components and restore functionality
• Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operationsfor pool maintenance
• Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs to ensure a safe and well-maintained hotel
• Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing
• Ability to speak, write and receive direction (written and verbal direction) in English
• Ability to troubleshoot andrepair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods
• Flexibility to be available for emergency repair
