Job summary

Lewis Energy Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to perform basic building and premises maintenance across office, industrial, and ranch environments. You will respond to trouble calls, assess issues, and coordinate repairs using internal and external resources.

The role involves moderate task complexity and travel to multiple properties on a regular basis. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1 year related experience, and basic electrical/HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year related maintenance experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Basic computer and smart device skills.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, hydraulic and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight regularly.
• Familiarity with local/state/federal rules and regulations for maintenance work activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, identifies, and corrects facility, equipment and system problems to maintain properties and equipment in safe condition.
• Plans and schedules corrective action and preventive maintenance to repair or modify defects and maintain operating condition of facilities, equipment, and systems.
• Documents work, work orders, purchase orders, and material list to account for materials purchased and time spent in completing work assigned.
• Requests supplies and materials needing to replace materials consumed and assure their availability for assigned projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency responses.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts’ modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
• Traveling weekly to various properties.
