Job summary

StuartCo in Minnetonka, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and preventive tasks to ensure safe, well-maintained properties. The role supports daily operations and apartment turns under general supervision.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance experience and a working knowledge of building systems, with a focus on resident safety and high customer service. Full-time position with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general building systems.
• Experience completing work orders independently.
• Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general property maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, lighting, locks, and related systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.
• Assist with apartment turns to ensure move-in readiness and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance per established schedules and guidelines.
• Conduct exterior maintenance (roofs, parking areas, garages, pools, recreational areas).
• Support grounds maintenance, including snow removal and trash pickup.
