Peachtree Court is seeking a Maintenance Technician I.

Peachtree Court is an Affordable community located in Ahoskie, NC, with 50 units.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will coordinate tasks and supplies to prepare vacant units for re-occupancy and assist with special projects. You will maintain the property's overall condition, including exteriors, common areas, vacant units, and surrounding grounds, ensuring a safe, attractive, and comfortable environment. This includes performing preventative and corrective maintenance, managing relationships with residents and vendors, and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager depending on the property size.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Cleaning and restoring recently vacated apartments.
• Maintaining cleanliness of facilities and grounds.
• Changing bulbs, locks, and keys; installing appliances; painting and minor drywall repairs.
• Managing painting, pressure washing, and exterior cleaning tasks.

Preparing Vacant Units for Re-occupancy

• Inspecting units for repairs, creating punch lists, removing trash, and performing quality control checks.
• Assisting with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

Resident Relations and Administrative Tasks

• Delivering notices, assisting with occupancy checks, maintaining make-ready supplies, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Reliable transportation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of apartment maintenance, minor repairs, and power tools.
• Customer service skills, ability to prioritize work, and maintain professionalism.

Grooming & Uniform

Maintain a neat appearance and wear the uniform at all times while on duty.

Physical Demands
