Description
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Perform repair and preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and fixtures using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components with test equipment and hand tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Calculate, lay out/draw, balance, and align equipment.
  • Perform rigging activities, safety functions, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricate or utilize mechanical parts from various metals as needed.
  • Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at all levels.
  • Plan and execute Preventative Maintenance, documenting all activities.
  • Be a self-starter and follow directions as needed.
  • Support safety and quality programs by adhering to rules and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for advanced processing equipment, CNC, material handling systems, press brakes, lifting devices, and saws.
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience with laser alignment and vibration monitoring.
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, pipefitting, welding, and oxyacetylene torch work.
  • Proficiency in testing electrical systems and circuits with appropriate devices.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and high lifts safely.
  • Experience programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting 20-50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to bend, sit, stand, climb, twist, and stoop for long periods.
  • Walking 2-5 miles per shift.
  • Good vision (20/30) with corrective lenses.
  • Coordination for precise hand and finger movements.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions, including heights, noise, vibrations, chemicals, and temperature changes.
