Job Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician I to contribute to our Distribution team inChambersburg, PA. This individual under limited supervision, is responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. This technician ensures that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This person partners with leadership in daily support to internal customers and maintenance team.

Schedules Available:

  • C Shift: Sunday – Tuesday + Every other Wednesday (7:00pm to 7:00am)
  • D Shift: Thursday – Saturday + every other Wednesday (7:00pm to 7:00am)

$27 and up, Depending on experience.

What You'll Need:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1 year as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year for year directly related education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
  • General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
  • Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
  • Basic understanding of PLC.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
  • Knowledge ofINFOR-EAMor comparative Maintenance Management System.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
  • Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
  • Performcomplex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
  • Readand interpretequipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
  • Performregularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Detectfaulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Operatemotorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
  • Complywith all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
