Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of technician experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic PLC understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Company Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician to contribute to our Distribution team in Chambersburg, PA. Under limited supervision, this person will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs related to distribution center facilities and equipment. The Technician will ensure that all equipment in the distribution center is properly maintained by performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This individual will partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and the maintenance team.

Pay:

$27 and up, Depending on experience.

Schedule:
  • C Shift - Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday (7:00pm-7:00am)
Required Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year as a technician in a production, distribution, or manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • General understanding of mechanical functions/applications
  • Basic understanding of PLC
  • Basic mechanical experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate equipment failures and provide basic emergency/unscheduled repairs.
  • Ensure repairs and equipment downtime do not negatively impact service level agreements.
  • Perform basic technical skills, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and services.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report unusual situations.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, and floor sweepers.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including recyclables removal and furniture moves.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
