Sares Regis Group Residential of Newport Beach, California, is a privately held real estate development, investment and management firm. We are expanding and seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our 64-unit Sunset Vine Tower in Los Angeles.

The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities for growth in property management. The role involves turnover work, repairs across multiple trades, and coordination of safety and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience across trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances).
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and MSDS; able to follow safety rules.
• Ability to read service orders and maintenance documents.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school or 3–6 months related training.
• Excellent customer service and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair units during turnover and respond to service requests.
• Perform internal and external repairs: drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers and HVAC.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts and fixtures.
• Fabricate cabinets, counters, benches, partitions.
• Maintain inventory and paperwork; keep storage and equipment orderly.
• Participate in emergency/after-hours coverage as scheduled.
