Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to oversee advanced maintenance for plant equipment, ensuring reliable operation and timely repairs. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, tool usage, and minor property repairs to support production targets.

The role requires a strong eye for detail, the ability to work nights/weekends, and lifting up to 45 lbs. A combination of experience and certified credentials is preferred to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in an industrial maintenance operation.
• Maintenance certifications from recognized authorities (see certifications list) are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve processing times.
• Identify and use appropriate tools safely to perform repairs.
• Operate equipment as needed to support production improvements and uptime.
