Job summary

Magnera is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support safe, efficient operation at the Augusta facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and troubleshooting under supervision, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, responding to calls, diagnosing issues, repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and training operators on basic maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience using diagnostic instruments and reading technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support highest level of safety in daily activities.
• Perform maintenance on complex machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Lead maintenance on shift and respond to service calls, including off-shift emergencies.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Provide basic operation and maintenance training to personnel.
• Maintain CMMS Maximo records and upkeep documentation.
