Job summary

M-D Building Products, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and service production-related equipment and accessories at our Oklahoma City facilities.

The role includes installations for capital and/or expense projects with safety as the top priority. Qualified candidates will have 1–3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, the ability to read electrical schematics, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Light electrical knowledge; welding capabilities and soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service production-related equipment and accessories.
• Perform installations for capital and/or expense projects with safety as priority.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment per manuals, schematics, and codes.
• Execute work orders and document activities in the system.
• Adhere to all Federal, State, Local, and company safety regulations.
• Keep shop clean; manage scrap disposal and tool inventory.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Interact professionally with employees at all times.
• Work across all locations with standard day shift schedule.
