Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC repairs, plumbing, carpentry and related duties across our resort-style communities. You will maintain amenity spaces, keep grounds clean, and coordinate with management on maintenance projects.

Requirements include 2–3+ years of direct technical experience, a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. On-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas (irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure amenity spaces are well maintained and working properly.
• Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
• Conduct irrigation systems repairs.
• Report maintenance concerns to management and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects and drive maintenance trucks as needed.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
