Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 for the Crowne Plaza in Virginia Beach, VA. The role supports maintenance operations, life safety, and guest comfort.

You will maintain hotel systems, supervise contractors, and ensure safety compliance while delivering warm, knowledgeable service to guests. A high school diploma and at least one year of experience are required, with flexibility for nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Must have basic communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to work with a team and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall operation of the maintenance department and life safety programs.
• Oversee equipment and systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and pool equipment.
• Log and follow up on maintenance requests and communicate with management.
• Supervise external contractors and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
