Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties (NYSE: ELS) is hiring for a Maintenance – Level I/II role at our Gettysburg community. The position involves a range of maintenance duties, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, and equipment upkeep, to ensure a clean, safe, and appealing property.

You will work as part of a team with management to meet the high standards of our communities, attend daily meetings, and respond to maintenance needs on a scheduled and on-call basis.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• 1–2 years of property maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces to ensure they are clean, safe, and functional.
• Maintain grounds and keep areas free of trash and debris.
• Collaborate with management to uphold high maintenance standards across the community.
• Attend daily morning staff meetings to coordinate vendor appointments and tasks.
• Communicate regularly with management and staff on maintenance projects.
• Report maintenance concerns and perform repairs as needed.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks between locations on the property.
• Monitor and manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills
