Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance General Technician to service automated material handling and facility equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work with a team of Burlington techs to restore equipment quickly and safely. This role offers promotion potential to Skilled Technician/Tech II based on proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Transferrable mechanical skills.
• Familiar with simple wiring diagrams and electrical measuring.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of MHE on site.
• Operate and maintain conveyors, sortation, scales and printer applicators.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment (PITs, HVAC, compressors).
• Read and understand basic electrical/electronic schematics.
• Document work orders with labor hours, downtime, causes and parts used.
