The Gund Company is seeking a First Level Maintenance Mechanic to service production equipment and facility infrastructure in Walnut, CA. The role emphasizes safe, reliable maintenance to minimize downtime and support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues, following instructions, and participating in cross training. Applicants should have an industrial maintenance background and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Independent and safe worker able to follow instructions.
• Strong math and reading schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on production equipment and building infrastructure or grounds.
• Complete maintenance work orders with limited direction.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical/electrical/electronic and plumbing breakdowns.
• Perform facility inspections and update parts records.
• Train peers and follow safety and quality standards.
• Maintain clean work area and tools.
