Job summary

Vivie in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep buildings, grounds, and essential systems in excellent condition. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, maintain safety equipment, and support campus aesthetics to promote security, functionality, and a welcoming environment for residents and staff. This full-time, hourly role runs 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. with an 80-hour pay period and weekend rotation every six weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minnesota Boiler Operator license within two years.
• Certified Pool Operator within two years.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds; perform repairs, floor care, landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling.
• Manage HVAC and mechanical systems; inspect, repair for safety and comfort.
• Maintain plumbing and water systems; repair water heaters, plumbing equipment.
• Ensure life safety and emergency preparedness; maintain fire safety systems, generators, sprinklers, alarm panels.
• Other duties as assigned.
