Qualifications

Job description

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Technician to contribute to our Distribution team in Chambersburg, PA. Under limited supervision, this individual will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs related to distribution center facilities and equipment. The Technician will ensure that all equipment in the distribution center is maintained properly by performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This individual will partner with leadership in daily support to internal customers and the maintenance team.

Pay:

$27 and up, Depending on experience.

Schedule:
  • A Shift - Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday (7:00am-7:00pm)
  • B Shift - Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday (7:00am-7:00pm)
Required Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1 year as a technician in a production, distribution, or manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • General understanding of mechanical functions/applications
  • Basic understanding of PLC
  • Basic mechanical experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate equipment failures and provide basic emergency/unscheduled repairs.
  • Ensure repairs and equipment downtime do not impact service level agreements.
  • Perform technical skills including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and services.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report issues to supervision.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, and floor sweepers as necessary.
  • Perform general facility maintenance including recyclables removal and furniture moves for internal relocations.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
