Job summary

Gainey's Concrete Products is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to assist with repair, maintenance, welding, and fabrication needs. You will support daily fabrications as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and VP of Operations, contributing to reliable equipment performance.

The role requires accurate reading of work orders and drawings, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently with a proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Meet safety, quality, and production goals while maintaining continuous improvement.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Assemble, install, align, and adjust machines using hand tools and power tools.
• Fabricate from semi-finished or raw materials (cutting, forming, welding).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and read production drawings.
