Job summary

Ingram Content Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to support our Jackson, TN facility. This role performs complex diagnostics and repairs on distribution center equipment to OEM standards, under limited supervision, ensuring reliable operation and timely service delivery.

You will work a Thursday-Saturday shift with alternating Wednesdays, and engage in safety training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year as a technician in a production/manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment failures and perform complex emergency repairs.
• Ensure repairs minimize downtime and meet service levels.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Detect faulty operations and report anomalies to supervision.
• Operate forklift and other motorized equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and documentation for facility and equipment.

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for aMaintenance Technician I to contribute to our manufacturing team inJackson, TN. This individual under limited supervision, is responsible for performing complex diagnostics and repairs, relating to distribution center facilities and equipment. This technician ensures that all equipment in the distribution center facility is maintained properly, by performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility equipment to OEM standards. This person partners with leadership in daily support to internal customers and maintenance team.

Pay:$28.00/hr, Depending on experience.

• A Shift: Thursday-Saturday 7a-7p, Every other Wednesday 7am-7pm

What You'll Need:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1 year as a technician in a production or manufacturing environment or equivalent year for year directly related education

Preferred Qualifications:

• General understanding of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
• General understanding of mechanical functions / applications.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.
• Electrical troubleshooting ability, with understanding of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
• Basic understanding of PLC.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of servo, hydraulic and pneumatically actuated equipment.
• KnowledgeofINFOR-EAMor comparative Maintenance Management System.

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate equipment failures and provides complex emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Ensure repairs and equipment downtime does not negatively impact the ability to meet service level agreements.
• Performcomplex technical duties, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production/facility machines.
• Readand interpretequipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Performregularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Detectfaulty operations, defective material and makes necessary repairs; reporting any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Operatemotorized equipment as necessary for driving and repairs to include forklift, order selector, pallet jack, floor sweeper, etc.
• Complywith all safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Helps maintain documentation for facility and equipment.
