Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the Union, NJ facility (3rd Shift). You will repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels and conveyors, while performing preventive maintenance and ensuring safety standards.

The role requires reading maintenance literature in English, blueprint reading, and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read maintenance literature in English.
• Ability to read a blueprint.
• Stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and monitor safety concerns.
• Conduct indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory suppliesand maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $31.67 - $40.47/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
