Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support an industrial laundry facility in Union, NJ. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers, and performing preventive maintenance while upholding safety standards.

The role requires reading maintenance literature in English, blueprints, and standing for up to 7 hours. A HS Diploma/GED is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and document maintenance records.
• Resolve safety concerns and conduct indoor/outdoor housekeeping as needed.
• Monitor inventory supplies and maintain maintenance records.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $31.67 - $40.47/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
