Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is hiring a Maintenance Technician I for our Smithfield, North Carolina facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC and automated production equipment, focusing on mechanical systems with foundational electrical troubleshooting.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma, and ability to read electrical diagrams. This onsite position offers growth opportunities and a benefits package.

• Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely use a digital multimeter.

• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and mechanical prints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and drive systems.
• Assist with diagnosing electrical problems using a multimeter.
• Perform lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before servicing equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, hoses, regulators, and air leaks.
• Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings and complete work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

This position supports safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automated production equipment, and safety devices.## **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, motors, and drive systems.* Assist with diagnosing electrical problems using a multimeter.* Read voltage, check continuity, verify power, and test fuses.* Replace sensors, switches, contactors, relays, proximity switches, limit switches, and other electrical components as directed.* Perform lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before servicing equipment.* Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, hoses, regulators, and air leaks.* Perform repairs on CNC equipment and automated machinery under guidance when necessary.* Read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings.* Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.* Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.* Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.## **Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED required.* Technical school or industrial maintenance training preferred.* 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.* Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting.* Ability to safely use a digital multimeter.* Basic understanding of AC/DC voltage and electrical safety.* Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.* Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, and industrial machinery.* Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and mechanical prints.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.## **Preferred Skills*** Experience with CNC equipment.* Welding or fabrication experience.* Forklift and aerial lift certification.* Experience with CMMS software.## **Physical Requirements*** Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.* Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.* Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency equipment failures as needed.* Ability to safely work around moving industrial machinery.**Benefits**· Wages based on experience.· Quarterly Bonus· Three weeks of vacation (prorated first year)· Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and 401k starts on first day· Tuition Reimbursement· Paid Holidays· Onsite Gym for employee use· Free Gatorade and Coffee
