The PMC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform scheduled upkeep, repairs, cleaning, and landscape tasks across our properties in Thousand Oaks. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure safety and functional facilities for residents.
We value hands-on experience, initiative, and a proactive approach to everyday maintenance challenges, with opportunities for growth in property management.
We make good investments in our people, properties, tenants, and company. The Property Management Company is a nationwide property management company. Our current property portfolio consists of around 8,000 apartments and townhomes, with a focus on providing affordable housing for seniors and persons with disabilities. We also manage a diverse and growing portfolio of other real estate assets covering traditional multifamily rentals, office, and light industrial uses. The PMC employs around 400 Teammates in 30 states across the country - and we are growing!
As we enter the next phase of our company's growth, we're looking for Teammates who can help us optimize our existing management platform (systems, tools, and processes), better leverage technology, and maintain our reputation for excellence. We are looking for ambitious self-starters who aren't afraid to dig in. We value excellent communication and collaboration, and we reward those who challenge the status quo to find better ways of doing things. We believe that people learn best by doing - so although we offer a full range of classroom learning and structured training paths, we prioritize hands-on experience and self-directed development.
As a Maintenance Technician I, your responsibilities include maintaining and repairing the facility as scheduled and collaborating with the Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity and overall upkeep of the building. Additionally, you'll handle cleaning duties for both the interior and exterior areas of the property, along with landscaping tasks (if needed). Solid maintenance knowledge and skills preferred, with experience in property management being helpful.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business while advancing your career. We seek individuals who aspire to cultivate a fulfilling, long-term career in property management, where they can actively contribute to improving people's lives. If you're passionate about your work, eager to take on challenges, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our residents,
