Job summary

Home of Hope, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to complete construction, remodeling, and general repair work across HOH facilities and vehicles. You will assist the Maintenance Technician, drive to multiple locations, and maintain a routine maintenance plan for all assets.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, ensuring safety and HIPAA compliance, and keeping accurate records while on call. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must have proof and maintain automobile insurance.
• Must be able to see, speak, and hear clearly.
• Must successfully complete all required training.
• Must possess good communication skills. This includes basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands associated with general maintenance responsibilities.
• May consistently lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must be willing to be on call.

• Maintain necessary documentation (work orders, materials billing, etc.).
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance in all program areas.

Job Summary:

Job Duties

• Serve in an on-call status unless other arrangements are made with the supervisor.
• Maintain current routine maintenance plan. This plan should include vehicles, heat/air units, lighting, fire alarm systems, etc.
• Assist Maintenance Technician on all job assignments.
• Provide feedback to Maintenance Technician both verbally and in written form to update status of current projects or maintenance needs.
• Effectively maintain the operational efficiency of HOH vehicles and facilities.
• Maintain all necessary documentation (i.e. work orders, materials billing, etc)
• Maintain a positive working relationship with the people we support, programs, service providers, and parents and guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Keep employment requirements up to date. (I.e. attending classes, vaccination updates, insurance, drivers license, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA in all program areas.
